Related to today’s post on TTPlayer Update, i decided to write a simple and easy way to block TTPlayer Ads.
If you havent noticed, there are some random ads that will pop up on you right bottom of your windows at some time, it wont went away, it will just stay there until you click the close button. (Sorry i got no screenshot).
Its annoying, i know.
So here is how to block it:
My Computer > C: (or whatever drive Windows is on) > WINDOWS > system32 > drivers > etc > hosts
Right-click on the HOSTS file, and click Open. A window will appear asking what to open it with; find Notepad, select it, and click OK.
You’ll see something like this in your notepad:
# Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a ‘#’ symbol.
# For example:
# 188.8.131.52 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 184.108.40.206 x.acme.com # x client host
Add THIS LINE:
to the bottom on of the file,
SAVE the file, and its done!
This will work for any version of TTPlayer you are using.
Enjoy your TTPlayer with no ads now.
