3 Years Hosting with Serverfreak v2 and v2 hosting service is sponsored by
Serverfreak: Malaysia Web Hosting

It had been 3 years since i moved from blogger to self-hosted blogging platform, wordpress. As a student i dont have much money to pay for the hosting, and nice enough serverfreak willing to sponsor me a place to host my blog, as long as i dont cause trouble to them.
And being a trouble maker as i always is, i do #fakap the hosting and cause serious trouble to Sam (the owner of the company) for many times….. But luckily Sam is kind enough to give me support in anyway and cleaning up all the mess i made for him…. (I feel super sorry every time i think back…..)

Anyway, if you didnt know, Serverfreak aka Malaysia Web Hosting is one of the best hosting service in Malaysia. They had very good reputation, good up time, and fast & friendly service. If you dont believe in me, ask those guys from forum. If you read my blog for quite a while, you should know my blog never face any down time.
I also used the dedicated server service before, the setup is super fast and you get the type of great service and performance you expected.

If you are looking into doing self-hosted blog or looking for hosting service, serverfreak is definately the way to go. You dont want your blog or website to load slowly and make your visitor all go away, you dont want down time and then lose all your traffic. So choose serverfreak, because i tell you to do so.

Malaysia Web Hosting, Thanks a lot!

Simple Way To Block TTPlayer Ads

Related to today’s post on TTPlayer Update, i decided to write a simple and easy way to block TTPlayer Ads.

If you havent noticed, there are some random ads that will pop up on you right bottom of your windows at some time, it wont went away, it will just stay there until you click the close button. (Sorry i got no screenshot).
Its annoying, i know.
So here is how to block it:

Go to:
My Computer > C: (or whatever drive Windows is on) > WINDOWS > system32 > drivers > etc > hosts

Right-click on the HOSTS file, and click Open. A window will appear asking what to open it with; find Notepad, select it, and click OK.

You’ll see something like this in your notepad:

# Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a ‘#’ symbol.
# For example:
# # source server
# # x client host

to the bottom on of the file,
SAVE the file, and its done!

This will work for any version of TTPlayer you are using.

Easy right!
Enjoy your TTPlayer with no ads now.
